As you can see from many of my paintings, I enjoy a strong Scandinavian heritage. As a young girl I was given my first Dagmar cross, a traditional gift for baptisms, confirmations, brides, and other special occasions. My sister, Judy, is a silver/goldsmith and has carved the wax in the image of the original cross. We have them cast in solid 14K Gold and Sterling Silver and offer them with a gift box, a six-page booklet of "The Story of the Dagmar Cross" and an optional matching 18" chain. My involvement with the sales is due to my knowledge of the Danish language as it was my foreign language study in college.
